Year 8 Macbeth

Year 8 have been studying a range of powerful and resilient female figures in English Literature. These include fictional characters from 19th century fiction and 20th century fiction, as well as the poet Maya Angelou. We have now moved on to studying Lady Macbeth and the students have been exploring her character traits and how Shakespeare presents her as a powerful woman. Here are some examples of their work:
