Code of Conduct

Our Code of Conduct is based on four rights:

  • The Right to Learn
  • The Right to Teach
  • The Right to Dignity
  • The Right to Security

The concepts of self-discipline and social responsibility underpin the Code of Conduct.  All girls are expected to respect the rights and the property of others, and to contribute to the good order and calm atmosphere in the school.

On occasions when behaviour of individuals is seen to be unacceptable, a series of sanctions are used by staff.  Details of these are given to all parents in the Family Handbook distributed each year.

Behaviour issues are recorded on Class Charts. This software can be viewed by parents allowing them to monitor their daughter’s behaviour and attitude. Class Charts will automatically send out details of any detention set.

Isolation, fixed term / permanent exclusions are used for very serious cases of misbehaviour, or for persistent rule breaking.
