Rewards

All rewards are recorded on Class Charts. Parents can access this software to see how their daughter is working / performing in her different subjects. Students’ achievements are acknowledged through the awarding of medals. These medals recognise where students have met one of our six School Values.

Crucially, whilst we reward girls’ academic achievements, we also recognise and celebrate success in the widest sense, instilling a belief that anything is possible with hard work and dedication.  To this end, alongside our usual rewards system, we also:

•          Invite nominated students to half-termly Head’s Breakfast, where girls can share and celebrate their achievements with the headteacher and other girls.

•          Award a Headteacher’s Commendation for exceptional work which is then displayed in the school foyer.

•          Promote the ‘Passport to Success’; an awards system based on the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme that recognises a wide range of achievements, including working with the local community and fundraising.

•          Promote the School Values through the annual awarding of School Values awards
