Fiona Scott

Fiona Scott large (larger).jpgProfessional Musician Fiona was born in Preston, Lancashire. She attended Penwortham Girls’ High School before moving to Royal Northern College of Music and then The Opera School of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. Fiona was the recipient of the Dame Eva Turner Award for Dramatic Sopranos, and the Wagner Society of Scotland Bayreuth Bursary for 2008. Operatic roles include Ariadne, Fata Morgana (L’Amour des trois Oranges), Madame Lidoine (Les Dialogues des Carmelites), Lady Billows (Albert Herring), Freia (Das Rheingold), Donna Anna, understudy (Don Giovanni), and Countess (The Marriage of Figaro). Fiona is equally at home on the Concert Platform, giving recitals and Opera Galas around the UK and abroad. Fiona recently came back to PGHS to perform at the ‘Arts Celebration’ Concert in July 2011.
