School Uniform
We insist upon a strict adherence to our rules around uniform and expect our girls to wear it with pride. We both trust and rely on your full support in implementing this policy.
Uniform
• SKIRT: Navy skirt with kick pleats bearing our school badge (TO BE WORN KNEE LENGTH)*.
OR
• TROUSERS: School uniform trousers bearing our school badge*.
• JUMPER: Special cherry red with embroidered badge* (navy jumper in Year 11).
*NOTE: These items should only be purchased from our school outfitters or from our Pre-Loved Uniform shop.
A STUDENT WHO REPEATEDLY MAKES THE CHOICE TO WEAR THEIR SKIRT AT THE WRONG LENGTH WILL BE REQUIRED TO WEAR SCHOOL TROUSERS. STUDENTS WHO CHOOSE NOT TO WEAR SCHOOL TROUSERS WILL BE ISOLATED AND PARENTS WILL BE CONTACTED TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE.
• BLOUSE: White, revere collar: poly/cotton.
• SOCKS: Plain white/navy, knee length (not over the knee). NO TRAINER SOCKS, FRILLY SOCKS OR SOCKS WITH BOWS.
OR
• TIGHTS: Black, plain. NO LEGGINGS.
• SHOES: Substantial, black, flat or low-heeled, polishable.
TRAINERS, PUMPS OR BOOTS WILL BE CONFISCATED AND RETURNED AT THE END OF THE SCHOOL DAY. STUDENTS WILL BE PROVIDED WITH SCHOOL PUMPS FOR THE DAY. STUDENTS WHO WON’T WEAR SCHOOL PUMPS WILL BE ISOLATED AND PARENTS WILL BE CONTACTED TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE.
• OUTDOOR COATS: Must be sensible in style and of a dark colour (e.g. blue, black, burgundy, grey) and suitable for cold / wet weather.
LEATHER, FAUX-LEATHER, DENIM, FAUX-FUR COATS / JACKETS, TRACKSUIT TOPS, HOODIES, OR JACKETS WITH LARGE LOGOS WILL BE CONFISCATED AND RETURNED AT THE END OF THE SCHOOL DAY. ITEMS CONFISCATED FOR A SECOND TIME WILL BE NEED TO BE COLLECTED BY PARENTS.
• Navy or black head scarf (OPTIONAL).
Accessories
Jewellery must not be worn in school. NO PIERCINGS OR RETAINERS, NECKLACES, RINGS OR BRACELETS.
Any watch, e.g. Apple Watch or other electronic device** that can connect to the internet cannot be worn in school.
Hair accessories such as headbands, claw clips, bobbles and scrunchies should be sensible in size, style and colour (e.g. blue, black, white or grey). Hair wrap braids or bows are not permitted.
CONFISCATED ITEMS WILL BE RETURNED TO STUDENTS AT THE END OF THE SCHOOL DAY, OR TO PARENTS WHERE THIS IS DEEMED APPROPRIATE. STUDENTS WILL ALSO RECEIVE A DETENTION.
Hair
Hair should be neat and sensible. Unnatural hair colour, e.g. partially dyed with bright colours (streaks / highlights), starkly contrasting colours, or styles, e.g. partly shaved, are not permitted.
Appearance
Students must not wear make-up, coloured spot stickers, fake eyelashes, fake tan, false nails, or coloured nails. They must not draw on themselves.
If it is not practical or possible for a uniform breach to be remedied immediately, the student will be isolated in school. Parents and carers will be notified, and the student will return to lessons once the issue has been resolved.
Failure to resolve the issue after an agreed timescale with parents will be treated as serious defiance, leading to further sanctions and in extreme cases, suspension.
PE Kit*
Compulsory: Falcon Vision 2 in 1 shorts Navy/White/Scarlett with the school badge on the left-hand side.
Navy non branded polo t-shirt
Appropriate Trainers with non-marking soles (small logos permitted)
White plain sports socks
PE bag: Black/Navy with no big logos
Shin Pads
Optional PE items:

*It is advisable to get all PE kit items embroidered with their name in case they get mislaid.
The PE Department has a stock of pre-loved, laundered PE kit and trainers. If a student makes the choice to not wear an item of PE kit that would enable them to participate in the lesson, they will be removed and a detention will be issued.
