Year 7 Netball

Year 7 have made a fantastic start to Netball this year, with more than 20 students regularly attending practice every Monday night after school since September. The standard and commitment has been very high. We took three teams to All Hallows Catholic High School for a friendly match at the end of January. All girls performed brilliantly, demonstrating a high level of Netball skills and further developed their knowledge of game play which was great preparation for the league. If we could have entered all three teams in the South Ribble League we would have, but unfortunately we could only enter two.

The league has taken place at All Hallows Catholic High School over 3 different nights. The A & B teams continued to impress us with their efforts and dedication and of course, continued increasing skills and sportsmanship. Due to a couple of schools missing the last date, we are still unsure of the final ranking. The A team were undefeated however, so we are hopeful for first place. It really has been a pleasure to watch them all develop. Well done, girls and keep up with the training! We still have the Year 7 Netball Tournament to look forward to at the end of this term.

A massive well done to all the girls!

A-team : Eve, Phoebe B, Bo, Lily, Isabelle, Laila, Jasmine and Georgia.

B1-team: Julia, Charlotte O, Charlotte G, Abbie R, Phoebe M, Jessica and Esther.

B2-team: Bella, Nick, Anya, Elizabeth, Molly, Esme, Abbie E and Riya.
