Year 7 Art Students take part in Sarah Graham virtual visit

This November, a class of Year 7 pupils were able to ‘virtually’ meet British Photorealist Painter, Sarah Graham, through a live Zoom Meeting. Sarah had kindly arranged to discuss her own working practice and took our Year 7s round a virtual tour of her studio workshop. We learned about what it takes to become a professional artist and saw some of the inspiring nostalgic objects that Sarah paints from.

Our pupils were keen to ask Sarah about her experiences, famous commissions and what she enjoys most about being a successful painter. Our students were truly inspired by the event, which was later broadcast to all Year 7 classes. A special thanks to Sarah for running this session for us.
