South Ribble Athletics Championships

For the first time in 3 years, the South Ribble Athletics Championships was back at Stanley Park. It was a fantastic day with full attendance from all 11 South Ribble secondary schools.

We took a group of 30 students, with a team from Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9. All girls performed exceptionally on the day, giving 100% effort in all events.

Our teams really did do us proud with our final results being:

Year 7 – 3rd girls overall

Year 8 – 2nd girls overall

Year 9 – 3rd girls overall

For individual events, we also secured 3 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 9 bronze medals.

Massive well done to all students that took part!
