Secondary Science Workshop

We are excited to share some electrifying news! Last week, students from Year 7, Year 8, and Year 9 embarked on a thrilling journey into the world of science through a Secondary Science Workshop. This fantastic opportunity was made possible through a collaboration between Science Made Simple and Electricity Northwest and it left our students ‘buzzing’ with excitement!

The workshop ignited sparks of curiosity in our young learners. Throughout the session, they delved into the fascinating realm of electricity generation and safety. From understanding the basic principles of electrical circuits to exploring the significance of safe electrical practices in our daily lives, our students were on an electrifying adventure of discovery.

One of the standout aspects of the workshop was its emphasis on future career opportunities. Students were exposed to a diverse range of professions related to science and electricity, inspiring them to think about the incredible paths they can pursue in the future.

We owe a huge thank you to Science Made Simple and Electricity Northwest for orchestrating this remarkable event. Such initiatives play a vital role in nurturing the budding scientists, engineers and innovators among our students.

We encourage you to engage your children in conversations about their experiences during the workshop. Let’s keep the enthusiasm for science alive and encourage them to dream big!
