Samba Day

On Tuesday 4th July, we were delighted to host community musician and Samba specialist, Jon Aveyard into school to lead a samba workshop with Year 7 students.
Learning everything from instrument names to recognising how to respond to different calls, students were able to combine their knowledge to give some fantastic performances. The school corridors were certainly ringing to the samba beat and the students had a fantastic time!
