Royal Institution Mathematics Masterclasses 2020

For the second year in a row, students from Penwortham Girls’ High School have been invited to attend the prestigious Royal Institution Mathematics Masterclasses held at Lancaster University across six weekends in the New Year. To be invited back for a second year is a recognition of the high regard held for our students by the Mathematics department at Lancaster University.

Also, Mr Rhodes and Mr Cheal have been invited to assist at a number of the masterclass sessions, further broadening the contacts that the school has with institutions for higher learning.
