Revision

It’s that time of the year. Mock exams and real exams are all coming up and your teachers and parents are asking “how is the revision going?”.

This can make you feel anxious and overwhelmed. You want to do well but are sometimes afraid to ask …”how do I revise?”

Sometimes it isn’t about how to revise but having a good revision plan in place.

Do you have a plan? Do you know how to make a plan?

Well don’t worry…we can help.

Like any big task, revision is much easier when you have a plan.

You need to start with a list of what you need to know, and you write down the dates of the exams. You then work out how you’re going to fit in revising all those topics in the time you have available.

The beauty of making, and sticking to, a revision plan is that by the time you get to your exam you know you’ll be properly prepared for whatever the exam might hold for you. You’ll know there’s nothing more that you could have done and you will feel relaxed.

Follow the steps here:

Mrs Honeyman will be holding a session for making revision plans during Tuesday lunchtimes at 12.45pm in room 46 if you need any help with these steps.

Mrs Honeyman
