Practical Work in Year 9

In Design and Technology this half term, Year 9 students have been able to start using the practical equipment, machinery and laser cutter in the workshop in small groups.

The students have been creating either one off hand made Christmas decorations and/or laser cut creations using the CAD package 2D Design and materials such as plywood and acrylic. It has been great to see them building confidence by using the machines, tools and equipment!
