Poetry – Pastiche

In English, our year 7s have been exploring character and voice in a variety of texts (ranging from non-fiction to fiction and from prose to poetry). As part of their unit of work, they have been studying what a pastiche is and have then created their own pastiche poetry, inspired by “The Richest Poor Man in the Valley” by Lindsay Macrae and “Warning” by Jenny Joseph.
