A group of Year 8 and 9 students have arrived in Rome for their visit to Rome and the Bay of Naples. The purpose of the visit is to develop further our students’ knowledge and understanding of all three humanities subjects: history, geography and RE.
As part of this year’s STEM festival, Y9 students will be participating in the ‘If You Were an Engineer, What Would You Do?’ Leaders Award competition. This national competition challenges school pupils to identify a real-world problem and design an innovative solution. #STEM
Our STEM festival fortnight begins on 24th February. With 75% of the fastest growing careers being STEM related and only 16% of STEM career professionals being female we aim to produce an extravaganza of events to inspire our girls to consider STEM as a future career path.
