Headteacher’s Welcome Letter

Dear Parents and Carers,

I am honoured to have been appointed the new headteacher for Penwortham Girls’ High School. Having been a part of the school for many years, initially as a science teacher and later as the Deputy Headteacher, I have witnessed first-hand the unique and special environment that our school provides for students to flourish and reach their full potential.

I firmly believe that the success and happiness of our school community depends on the collaborative efforts of all stakeholders, and I am eager to work closely with you, the parents and carers, to continue the legacy of excellence at Penwortham Girls’ High School. The contribution you make to your daughters’ achievements is invaluable and I am excited about strengthening the partnership between home and school.

Looking ahead, there are several exciting developments, including the construction of our new school building. I am committed to keeping you well-informed about how we are moving the school forward and welcome your feedback.

I am genuinely looking forward to meeting each of you in person at the upcoming school events, particularly the Progress Evenings scheduled for this term. These occasions provide an excellent opportunity for us to discuss your daughters’ academic progress, address any concerns and strengthen the bond between home and school.

Warm regards,

Mrs Sharon Hall
