Get Well Soon

We’re sorry to hear you’re ill. Go get yourself a glass of Lucozade, pull up your duvet and break the boredum of another day in bed by getting yourself up-to-date with your geographical learning. (It will make a change from up-dating your myspace page!)

Every cloud has a silver lining; you may feel sick, your throat might be sore, your head might by fuzzy but at least you can expand your geographical knowledge and understanding – Wow! Being ill isn’t that bad after all!!!

Follow the steps below to achieve a geographically inspired recovery…

STEP ONE… Check out your Year page; there’s loads of videos, games and activities you can apply your mind to.

STEP TWO… Have a look around the general pages – watch our geographically inspired videos on the jukebox, learn about real world geography on our news page and visit our recommended sites to get fully up to date.

STEP THREE… You’re making excellent progress – you’ll soon be top of your class! I think its time for a ‘fun’ break. Put your gaming skills to the test by playing some of the geographically themed games available. Build the perfect town (Year 7 page), run an eco-friendly McDonalds (Year 9 page), save the world from a massive tsunami (GCSE AQA A, Tectonics page) or why not improve your knowledge of countries and capitals (Travel and Tourism Games page).

STEP FOUR… By now I suspect you’re well on the way to a full recovery. If there’s still a couple of hours before Home and Away starts, or your friends sign on to skype, why not download some of the fascinating worksheets listed below. These resources are general Geography based materials and will not only make you very popular with your Geography teacher but will also enable you to impress your parents with a wide range of fascinating Geographical facts.

Please Note: If the above actions have failed to improve your mood, you must be extremely ill (or very sad) and should consult your doctor straight away as you may have a nasty case of geoitis. Geoitis is an incrediably rare disorder which leads to students thinking Geography is boring!!!
