Cell-ab-ration

It is the exciting time of year for Year 7 to take part in the  Cell-a-bration competition. Students have been learning about how living organisms are organised as one of the ten big ideas of science called ‘organisms’. Part of this unit is about cells. These are the building block of living organisms and an important key concept in Biology. Each student has been invited to make models of cells to further their understanding of them. This is always a popular homework task, usually resulting in all sorts of wonderful designs and tasty creations.

The deadline for the entries is looming and the science staff are looking forward to judging the entries and sharing the winners with you.

Here are some of the early submissions so far. They are very impressive and I am sure they are very tasty too.
