Last week in assembly, we were celebrating kindness. Students and staff were asked to nominate someone from each year group who they thought had demonstrated the true value of kindness. We were inundated with nominations which was really humbling to read. One staff member had even spotted one young person going over to a new student in school who wasn’t even in their year group, to check in on them and ensure they knew where they were going. The Caroline Lowton Kindness Trophy is nominated each half term in memory of a truly inspirational lady who was our School Nurse over the pandemic. She demonstrated kindness to our staff and students without a second thought and we are proud to present this trophy in her honour again.
