Year 7 Geostar tasks

Hello everyone! Just a short edition of Geography news this week to share some excellent GeoStar tasks completed by Year 7. The year group are currently working on their cartographic skills and their spatial knowledge of Lancashire. A recent GeoStar task set the challenge of creating a 3D relief map of the U.K. or part of it. Below are some of the geo-tastic submissions we have had; Head’s Commendations all round!

Great work, Geographers! There was modelling clay, Lego, cardboard, a 3D printed map and even what might be an actual piece of the Lake District in a very original map! Very well done – Head’s Commendations for all!
