Halloween Spook-Tastical Fun @ PGHS

pumpkins2019.pngThe school’s Soroptismisses organised some Halloween events this week.  This involved a lucky dip, a spooky bake sale and the famous PGHS Spooky Walk (kindly organised by the drama studio). The purpose of the event was to raise money for our Soroptimist Charity.

The society raises money so that we can continue to send Sazile Mhlanga and Sinethemba Ncongwane to school in Swaziland, Southern Africa. They have already been at school for two years and we hope to be able to continue to sponsor them throughout their education.

The pumpkin winners were Freya and Maisie (both in Year 7) and they will receive some ‘spook-tactular’ prizes.  It was very a ‘tricky’ decision! Thank you for all your entries.

Due to popular demand, the Spooky Walk took place over two lunchtimes. This enabled more students to take part. The lucky dip and bake sale was also a huge success! It seems as though Halloween gets bigger and better every year at PGHS! We can’t wait for next year!
