Year 7 Rounders Tournament

On Wednesday 9th July, the Year 7 Rounders team represented PGHS at the South Ribble Rounders Tournament held at Priory Academy. The competition was split into A and B group stages, with PGHS finishing 2nd in their group after impressive wins against Balshaw’s and Worden.

In the play-off for 3rd and 4th place, the team faced hosts, Priory Academy and delivered a fantastic performance, winning 8½ rounders to 4. This result secured a well-deserved 3rd place overall in the tournament!

The team’s success is a reflection of their dedication and commitment, regularly attending lunchtime and after-school practices. The PE department is incredibly proud of your efforts.  Well done, team!
