Year 7 Art Trip to Yorkshire Sculpture Park

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for all Year 7 students to visit the Yorkshire Sculpture Park on Wednesday 21st October 2026 for a full day of creativity, exploration and inspiration!

This fantastic trip will give students the chance to immerse themselves in one of the UK’s leading outdoor galleries, set within beautiful parkland and home to an incredible collection of sculptures by world-renowned artists. Throughout the day, students will explore the park, discover a wide variety of thought-provoking artworks and take part in a range of engaging art activities inspired by the sculptures they encounter.

The visit promises to be both educational and enjoyable, encouraging students to think creatively, develop their artistic skills and gain a greater appreciation for art in the world around them. It is a wonderful opportunity for students to experience creativity on a larger scale and to see how artists bring their ideas to life in exciting and unexpected ways. We strongly encourage all Year 7 students to take advantage of this enriching experience. The Yorkshire Sculpture Park is a truly inspiring place and we are confident that the trip will open students’ eyes to new ways of thinking, creating and expressing themselves.
