Our Year 10 students recently visited the Lowry Theatre in Manchester to watch Willy Russell’s Blood Brothers, the play they are studying for their GCSE English Literature course. The performance was a fantastic opportunity for them to see the text brought to life, deepening their understanding of its themes of family, class and fate. The trip not only supported their learning but also gave them a memorable cultural experience, showing the power of live theatre to inspire and engage.
