Tempest Theatre Trip

Last month, 30 of our Year 8 students enjoyed a fantastic theatre visit to see Shakespeare’s comedy The Tempest at the Shakespeare North Playhouse in Prescot. As the only 17th-century-style, timber-built “Cockpit” theatre outside of London, the venue provided a truly unique and immersive experience. The performance was riotous, full of energy and wonderfully funny, keeping the students laughing throughout. The girls had a brilliant time and it was a superb opportunity to experience live theatre up close and enjoy the magic of Shakespeare in such an authentic and memorable venue.
