Head Girl
Hello! My name is Jenya and I am extremely proud to be representing Penwortham Girls’ High School as Head Girl for the 2026-2027 academic year. I am so grateful and excited to embrace this opportunity by working with teachers and the Deputy Head Girls, Lilah and Jess to ensure that our outstanding school community continues to strengthen as we move into our new school build. I aspire to be a positive role model for all students by making sure everyone feels listened to, valued and embodies our 6 core values (dignity, resilience, social responsibility, curiosity, ambition and compassion) throughout my remaining time at Penwortham Girls’ High School. This school has not only guided me academically but has fuelled my confidence and self-esteem over the years. I hope to give back by leaving a lasting legacy of optimism, kindness and meaningful change that will continue to positively impact students for years to come.
Deputy Head Girl
Hi! My name is Jess and I am honoured to have been given the role of Deputy Head Girl this academic year. I am so proud to be a student at Penwortham Girls’ High School. It has provided me with so many opportunities and I am extremely excited to be able to give back to the school in this position. Our school’s welcoming community is evident and I hope to maintain this, whilst also thinking of more ways we can improve our school’s environment. My goal is to be a role model for younger students and to be someone they can confide in or come to when they need help. I want to be a friendly face that my peers can spot around school and know that I’ll always have time to talk. I am looking forward to working alongside Jenya and Lilah this year and representing you and the school in this role.
Deputy Head Girl
Hi! I’m Lilah and I am so excited to have been chosen to be Deputy Head Girl for this year. When I started PGHS, I made the decision to make the most of every opportunity given to me and to try my best at absolutely everything. Thanks to all these experiences and the friendships I have made along the way, I am more confident, resilient and compassionate and I am committed to supporting all members of our school community in my final year. I am so grateful for how this school has shaped me into the person I am today and I am really looking forward to working with Jenya and Jess, to help lead the school through such an exciting chapter in its history.
