Last week, our Year 10 Student Leadership Team featured on BBC Radio 4’s Food Programme. Earlier this month, students were delighted to speak with Sheila Dillon about the Government’s proposed overhaul of England’s school food standards.
The discussion explored plans to improve school meals by reducing fried foods, puddings and processed meats, while increasing the amount of fruit and vegetables served to pupils. Our students shared their perspectives on school food and the important role it plays in supporting health, wellbeing and learning.
