Cross Country

Those who were placed in the top 10 of the South Ribble Cross Country Championships went on to run in the Lancashire School’s Cross Country Championships on Saturday 1st February. Five students from Penwortham Girls’ represented the school. Year 7 ran 2km for their race and among 150 girls overall in the county, we had a fantastic result and the students proved very resilient!

Anais M placed 21st overall and 3rd in South Ribble.

Maddie P placed 25th overall and 5th in South Ribble.

Tilly M placed 35th overall and 7th in South Ribble. 

Two students from Year 10 were in the Intermediate race and ran 3.5km in total.

Marianna N placed 15th overall and 2nd in South Ribble.

Holly L placed 21st overall and 3rd in South Ribble.
