Year 7 and 8 South Ribble Football Competition

Undefeated again!!! 

Last Wednesday, our Year 7 and 8 football team travelled to Leyland St Mary’s to compete in the South Ribble Football Competition. The team have been exceptional so far this year, winning both the previous outdoor and indoor tournaments. They did not disappoint and again won all their games, finishing top of the table by 2 clear points and winning in the final! It was a cold and wet evening, but the girls remained committed and focused and put in fantastic performances in every game! We scored the most goals we have had so far and it was great to see the quality of Football that they played. Big thanks to the parents that came to support us! 

Massive well done to all the girls:- Chole, Lucie, Jess, Georgia, Amelia, Sophia, Phoebe, Daisy and Isabelle for a superb team performance. 

Shout out to the goal scorers: Phoebe, Daisy, Amelia, Sophia and Chloe. 

Special shout out to star striker, Phoebe for 2 hat-tricks and Amelia who played out of position and scored 4 goals across 2 games with a hat-trick in one of them!
