Life Skills News

Over the past few weeks, Year 9 students have been working hard in Life Skills to prepare for their upcoming GCSE option choices.

They have carried out detailed research into a range of Post-16 pathways, exploring local colleges and sixth form providers and learning about the different qualifications available to them.

Students have also used the National Careers Service and Labour Market Information to investigate career opportunities and discover current and future trends across job sectors in Lancashire.

They have shown excellent focus and produced high‑quality research that will support them in making informed decisions about their next steps.

This research will help them make confident, well‑informed choices when it comes to selecting their GCSE subjects.
