Geography Trip to Ingleton Falls

In mid-October, the Geography Department took approximately 75 Year 8 students to Ingleton to walk the 4.5-mile Waterfall Trail. This was a great day with a great group of young Geographers. We saw the trail at it’s very best due to the heavy rainfall in the week before our trip. Thornton Force in particular was spectacular, with a huge amount of water thundering over the falls (there were some awesome photos). The trail staff were extremely accommodating when 80 people descended on the snack hut half way round and the hot chocolates were excellent!

Thank you to all the young Geographers for attacking the trail with such enthusiasm and for the staff who came along who were very supportive throughout.
