Year 10 Product Design

The group have been working hard to complete their desk tidy/ jewellery organiser project. They were encouraged to use CAD/CAM including laser cutting, as well as traditional methods to create their final outcomes. Some students have even experimented with pivot joints and living hinges. They have also just started a new project making a children’s night light. This has involved soldering electronics and vacuum forming a base and the students have shown great resilience by overcoming any issues while soldering in order to make a successful circuit. Well done!
