South Ribble Rounders Tournament

On Tuesday 25th June, some of the Year 8 students represented the school at the South Ribble Rounders Tournament based at Penwortham Priory Academy. The girls reached 3rd place in the tournament against 9 other schools that competed. They played four games in their group and won 2, drew 1 and lost 1, which gave them the chance to fight for 3rd or 4th place against Leyland St Mary’s. The girls battled well and won their game by showing great teamwork, motivation and resilience throughout the tournament. Well done, Year 8!
