Jamie Oliver’s Ministry of Food

We are thrilled to share that Monday’s after school Baking Club at PGHS has successfully completed the Jamie Oliver’s Ministry of Food programme! As part of this exciting initiative, our Year 9 Baking Club rose to the challenge of creating 10 healthy and delicious dishes and they did not disappoint.

Over the course of the programme, students developed their skills in the kitchen and gained a deeper understanding of healthy eating. From flipping perfect pancakes to crafting a flavourful tomato soup, each recipe was approached with enthusiasm and creativity. We are incredibly proud of their commitment and teamwork in completing all 10 dishes. Students will receive their certificate in the end of year assembly.

A big well done to everyone involved!

We like to celebrate amazing baking and cooking skills in Food Preparation and Nutrition.  As well as achieving a Head’s Breakfast or a Head’s Commendation, we also have our Chef of the Week award. Look out for your child coming home with this certificate!
